Whilst it has been well publicised to berth holders in Lagos Marina, visitors arriving at Lagos may not be aware that the main channel in the marina is being dredged starting 0800 Monday 5th May & hopefully completed by Friday 9th May (although if not completed it may continue into the following week).
During this period access to/from the marina will be restricted to 1030/1130, 1330/1430 & 1630/1730 when the dredger will be dumping spoil at sea.
It is understood that the dredger will be holding over-night on the waiting pontoon so its availability could also be restricted.
Clearly if you are inbound to Lagos during this time-period an early call on Channel 9 to confirm status may be advisable.
