Out of more than academic interest, what space/gap would you reasonably expect on a marina finger pontoon between adjacent boats? Perhaps for consistency I can ask the question in two ways:
a) between the boats
b) between the fenders of both vessels

As ever grateful for views.

Inland, it seems to vary from marina to marina.

This is where I berth my boat, the berth is just big enough but I'd be more concerned about the ability of those around me. Fortunately most of my neighbours are OK.

At Themas and Kennet near Reading you get enough room to fit a dinghy in between - not that I would!
