Marina Berth Purchase in Tunisia?

We all know about the crazy situation with berths in the med (well everywhere really). It’s worse for cats – since we get hit with some big surcharges 100% or occasionally 200%.

There are a few new marinas in Tunisia (they beat Spain for security and facilities) that are offering some sensible terms on berths (25 year lease).

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Been saying for ages that the North African coast marinas are the way to go in the future, so I would say, get in there early!
But also, don't do the deal through a European or even Arab middle man, get over there yourself and deal directly and don't forget to bargain hard as I have heard of some very good discounts available to those who are willing to bargain hard!

we are currently in yasmine marina hammamet its a new develoment and will be very smart the main town 10 mins by taxi,berth prices per year are very reasonable,security seems good and there is quite a lot of space,french is the main language tho the capitainarie of the marina speaks english;
flights are from tunis or monastir mainly neither of which are too far away,look up marina on net all details there,might be worth checking monasir as well,not sure about the marina but heard it was ok but it is near the airport transport from airports to resorts tho can be arranged through sales@hoteltransfer.com a friend of ours is coming over and its costing her 6.00 pounds return eg monastir-hammamet ham -mon
not sure about out of season tho hpe this is of use
