So we're in a marina for one night, first time in over a month, and already discussing where to anchor tomorrow.
The obvious benefits are fresh water (had run out), electricity so can do all the laundry, washing boat with fresh water and generally cleaning everything in sight.
Negatives as far as we're concerned namely people walking by all the time, it's hot but hardly likely to take a dip in the marina and very expensive restaurants/bars around. Not to mention the cost at summer rates, hence just the one night. (Have considered getting a water maker but cheaper to have the odd pontoon day, the Boss still grumbles at the cost).
Wonder how often other liveaboards use marinas and if for the same reasons?
