I am trying to find a maintenance manual for a volvo penta 60 lonshaft o/b. Does anyone know where i can find one.

In general terms there seem to be no problems in getting pdf files of manuals from manufacturers for newer engines, both i/b and o/b. How about setting up a manuals database for older engines?

Doubt if you'll find anything now. VP pulled out of the outboard game what 1980 ish. I expect yours is a rebadged something but I've no idea what. I've got a VP 51 that was variously badged Archimedes and Crescent. Last used it in 1985.

It might be worth getting in touch with the manufacturer / uk importer.

I recently contacted Tohatsu as the manual for one of the auxilliary motors which I have did not seem to be available as a pdf.

The tohatsu uk sent me an original copy. Top marks for customer service!

[/ QUOTE ] The owners manual, yes but it is a totaly different engine. Air cooled for a start. Single clyinder. Yours is a twin and water cooled?
