It occurs to me that many readers here have useful manuals, data and other info that would be invaluable to others. It would be a good idea if we could upload these in a PBO database. I've no idea how this could be done but no doubt more IT literate types will. Recent examples are Colnebrook furlers and VP md1users instructions.

Copyright may be your problem informal exchange between individuals may be OK but for IPC to host a database I think there would be problems

Managed to find manuals on line for just about everything that I needed-----then downloaded them all on to my iPad.

No longer have to rummage around looking for the right manual---now I have to rummage around looking for my iPad

check out how BlueMoment does this as a public service.
Bluemoment is OK but I failed to find an MD1 users handbook or workshop manual. People often reply to questions on here with links to manuals etc (especially VicS) but you can't find them again because the search facility doesn't work very well. Before I'm flooded with links to MD1 stuff - I have copies of both although the handbook is a very poor scan.
Correction. using this link http://www.bluemoment.com/manuals/MD1B-2B-3B_Workshop.pdf the workshop manual is on bluemoment. Couldn't find it before.:ambivalence:

The Manual on Bluemoment for the MD 20** series is incomplete, as is every other online source. The fuel bleeding pages are missing. I have offered a full copy to them, but not taken up. Copyright problem maybe.

Fuel bleeding instructions are in the operator's manual, downloadable from the Volvo Penta website.

Yes the owner's manual does, but also tells you to phaff about with injector bleeding. The workshop manual tells you that is not normally necessary, just start the engine.
