Manual/Instructions for EchoPilot depth sounder and Log.

All,

I have an older EchoPilot depth sounder and Log on this new boat I have recently acquired.

But I have no instructions/manual.

Where or how could I get these ? EchoPilot WEBSite seems to only have manuals for the newer models!

I have turned it on for the first time and it is reading a depth of 0.0!

It is a model with 2 digital panels, top one is for Speed/Log and bottom is for depth. There are 2 Select buttons to the left and 2 arrow buttons to the right. Does anybody recognise it and knows how to operate !

I have the same machine and if you can wait till end of month - I'll look for the manual on my boat.

I can say that if you have 0.0 on depth ... then that means sounder cable is connected - if it wasn't you would have Error displayed.

Is it the same as the one to right of hatchway here ... next to GPS bracket ?

Suggest save and zoom in ....

Could I ask for a copy as well, I bought the boat last year and the log doesn't appear to work but I am not sure whether this is due operator error or something wrong.

My depth shows 0.00 until the water depth is over 0.6 metres (drying out mooring).

In fact - I looked on the web-site of Echo-Pilot and they had a contact e-mail address ....................

so I thought - why not ask them about it .... they came straight back - Susan - and asked for post address to send a hard copy to. I suggested they send me a scan - but they reckon they haven't a scanned copy ...

So if you don't mind waiting a day for me to get my copy through for archive !! send an e-mail to them ........ but please don't mention I sent you all there !!!!

Tell 'em what model etc. - mine in the photo is the DUO.

They have kindly scanned the manual for me and I have now in my e-mail inbox.

It is labeled Supermaxi - but has same functions etc. You will find the Duo listed and explained ................
