I detect that Mantus does not enjoy great popularity outside America but this is the second such thread on the same topic. If you own a Mantus swivel it might merit some thought.

Mantus Anchor Swivel safety wire - Cruisers & Sailing Forums

I wonder if Loctite AND wire might be a solution.

I think this swivel an incredibly innovative design, but not for use in the rode - it is far too big (and will detract from anchor performance), needs the torque produced by 1.5 360 degrees turns in the rode to swivel under load (and will not swivel if sitting on the seabed). But I recognise more of this will sway the converts.

Just check the wire that holds it together.

This was an earlier thread:

Mantus swivel? Design flaws? Or no swivel at all? - Cruisers & Sailing Forums

possibly also proving few use the search thread :)

There may have been other threads

In view of Richard's reply Post 11 made me smile

.............If that doesn't hold it all together I doubt anything will. Mantus will have factored in everything when they designed the swivel, you don't build anchors like they do by chance you do it with sound engineering."
