Manifold for perkins 4.2368

Hi all, in Spain at the moment and a friend has a Nautical with a 4.236m engine.
He is concerned about rust patches on the outside of the manifold. I think it is just surface rust but he is worried that it is from inside.
Would he be able to source a part.
I have forgotten the contact details for the best places to try ASAP and parts4engines come to my ancient brain!
Any advice on this part and on the contracts welcome as always.

Get a stiff wire brush on a drill and attack the rust patches. Then decide the next step.

I guess his concern is that the corrosion is from the inside. He would like to understand the replacement issues before getting stuck in!
Do these cast iron manifolds tend to rust from inside?
I found an American firm that advertised new ss manifolds but they said out of stock and not getting more due to material costs!!
Would it be very difficult/costly to rebuild? Do other engines share this manifold?

Brushing the rust hard will show if it is from the inside. Can you put up a photo?

Might be worth talking to them? See if any fresh manifolds expected.
