Manhattan 74. Cheap !

I am sure it is not just SS but they do suffer mega depreciation after 8 years. Looked at a 2004 SS Predator 53 last week. Bank Repo admitedly but offers around £250k...and a nice Pershing 43 in Majorca....lots of deals around as most MOBOS older than 2006 and over 40 ft seem to be sat around and not selling in Southern Spain. Made a Cheeky offer on a 2005 V50 last week but was laughed away. Fine by me, not many other cash buyers in CDS at the moment but his request for €350k was Hilarious...hence my Cheeky bid.

Had a look round a really nice high spec 2007 portfolio 53 with JTB. Think that was £300k odd tax paid, bigger engines, water maker, walnut, docking winches, jet rib etc etc. 3rd cabin had 4 berths which was a unique conversion. lovely boat for the money. I paid £475k for my SS portfolio 53 in 2004 so depreciation was too bad?

There are a lot of big mobos in the 60-80ft range on the market at seemingly bargain prices but in reality, they are not bargains because the market for big mobos is very depressed especially in the Med so very few are selling. Yes, I've done it myself, fantasised about buying a cheap 70 - 80 footer but then you've got to pay to park it and fill it with fuel which is why of course they are cheap in the first place
