I posted the film because I thought the bloke was doing something pretty cool with his oar and his dinghy

I usually think thjat a bit of thread drift is a good thing

I thought it was great and have signed up to Off Center Harbor which is even greater. Why can't we have such a resource here? I know that wooden boat owners are considered serious freaks and I am one but surely even the biggest chav stinkpot owner or even a jet ski bandit would have to admit to the virtue of those boats. If they did not I would just have to put them down.

Sorry Dylan. Nothing cool or clever about using an oar to steer the dink. Often possible to do it by shifting your weight without the oar.

If the dog did it without the man that would be clever.

Nah sorry Dylan this is not Thread drift.
You have clearly stated in previous announcements, pertaining to future travelling that Harmony will be used to transport a number of humans and a dog (said to be a labrador).
Therefore in view of the above I plead my case that it relates to sailing and is perfectly justified in this respect. I rest my case.

A fisherman in Lymington had a wooden TEE spliced into his tender painter.
His dogs would take one side each and swim the tender from shore to the fishing boat.
