Mallorca berth for MAGNUM

I'm not sure yet. Soon I hope but the plan is to be in the Balearics for the rest of the summer at least.

Do you have a berth arranged? It's proving almost impossible to find one.

Yes it would be great to meet up again :)

Not planning to go into a marina but when we are across, we often end up in one for a day or so.
Just tend to turn up or phone the day we need something - usually if there is bad weather.
Obviously, it costs more than booking for a set longer period.
Arenal works for us for short periods but our boats are at the top end of max size.
Definitely not as nice as in Palma but it is close to the airport for friends to fly in and out.
In fact, we often use the little anchorage next to Arenal and then drive in/out with the dinghy to pick up/ drop off.
I suspect that we will end up doing the usual thing though - alternating between Palma Nova and Santa Ponsa - depending on which way that the wind blows!
If the weather is nice, we will definitely go down to Rapita (Es Trenc) but I believe that the Spanish authorities have banished the beach bars this year so it won't be as nice an experience as usual.
Maybe across to Cabrera but, essentially, we will be in the south of the island with the aim of crossing for a couple of weeks in Ibiza.
We have lots of yachtie friends who are out there at the moment and have been there for a few weeks so we will probably be joining them.
Great time to try out my new solar panels.
About 7 weeks ago, I badly broke my ankle so this year's boating has been put on hold.
We got the boat ready for the season at the middle of May but she has just sat there since.
I can't wait to get back out there.

All marinas are full this season and you will have trouble getting an overnight berth.

Cala d'Or has never been so packed and there is now a waiting list for berths for all sizes. It's manic.

You will need to book Cabrera weeks in advance.

I am in cabrera now,its full, but i managed to get a mooring at one days notice, i think it was a cancellation though,so a bit lucky. The chap who looks after my boat reckons its a very busy year. Having said that the mooring next to mine in adriano is empty, but its only a 7m one.

Pretty good. We are in Marina Palma, in between Club de Mar and Marina Port de Mallorca. A bit rolly late afternoon but apart from that it's good.

Great stuff glad you had a safe passage from jersey and enjoying the new toy... do you miss the Bordeaux 60, I guess with a little one it's not the best choice of boat, hence the change.
