Oh, and by the way, if you think emoticons get you out of jail with silly comments they don't. And if I detect them being over-used much longer by some people I will remove them.

You're stuck with me as sole forum headmaster for the time being as Claire has seen the folly of her ways and found a proper job on Motor Boats Monthly and Dom has left to start a franchise estate agency in Kent (yes, really). So it's just me and I'm slightly into NSFG (note suffering fools gladly) mode.

On that note the person with the username Victor Meldrew is banned, partly on the basis that you were a very poor impression of the real thing.

These days you need to image you're a politician giving a press conference when writing a post.

Otherwise some flippant 'one-liner' you put in the middle of it will be copied and pasted ten or more times, ripped to shreads, and you'll feel like heading for the woods with a sharp knife.

Couldn't you keep a sort of sinners file behind the bar at the SBS for a favoured few to look at while they try to fill you up with that gin stuff.

I'm sure Kim would have applied the padlock if didn't want any responses.

However we can always start a new post to discuss the subject.

Posts with no replies tend to sink quicker than a dropped danforth with no chain.

At least it keeps the subject on the boil for an hour or two, and more members will read Kim's message, and they can ignore all the trivia below if they choose.
