Anyone done Malaga airport to Almerimar lately. Know the trains dont run that far so looking at Alsa to El Ejido. Any ideas.

Best way is by Bus/Coach. There is a good bus service from El Ajido to Almerimar. So coach from airport to El Ajido, bus to Almerimar. OR Taxi much buck's

Thanks Peter, have you travelled on this coach, was wondering how many stops it makes as it seems to take about 4 hrs.

Hi no we hav'nt but we do get about a lot by bus and so know all or most if the routes. Perhaps you could try GOOGLE to find the best way. We sailed here.

Bus from Malaga
Hi there, yes we did the trip not long ago. It was really simple. Bus from outside airport to Malaga town main bus station. Go inside the station buy a ticket to El Ajido they run every 2-3 hours but luckily ours came in after 20 mins. Took 3 hours only stopped a couple of times at roadside cafe 10 mins. Was quite a good journey got a taxi to the marina from El Ajido cost around 12 euros.

Thanks TNT, thats what I was after. Have checked the ALSA website and timetable gives different journey times, up to an hour difference so wondered how many stops it made. We flew home from Almeria last time so its a bit of a pain getting back, I think flights start to Almeria at Easter from North of England.
Peter, re the book swop have you tried the room behind Ursa Marine, ask Liz in the office at Ursa.

No probs - yes it's a pain getting to Almeria from up North we did Nstle/Malaga in winter and April - Sept Leeds Bradford to Almeria then got someone from the marina to collect/drop us off for a fee. There are plenty of people do airport runs.

Yes we have been to Liz at Ursa Marine. But there it is two books for one allthough she does sell them at 50 cents each which is good value.
