Making the most of this weekend\'s weather.

Went down to the boat Saturday to clear up some final items before getting the new one.

To find, 'Targalout' being ably assisted by 'djefabs' and 'grizz' to fit a super new hot water system and 65 psi water pump on 'Fightstar'

Looking good, it all worked with no leaks...

After a good evening on the juice in Marina Jaks, we set off for breakfast at the local greasy spoon and I decided not to hang around today as I would only get fed up not boating.

So when I made it back home I took the dogs out for a run in the woods and then decided to get the golf sticks out and headed off to Camberley Heath (about 1/2 mile from home.)

I hit a great shot into the 2nd for a short putt birdie and thought, 'can't be bad /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif' until I hit the second shot into the short par four 6th. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Sorry if this is boring for some of you, (Derek) but if you can't get out on the boat this can be quite satisfying. Btw. this shot was straight at the flag, but the photos were taken from the side! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The ground was soft, but you can see how deep it dug in.

Would have prferred to be boating though. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Buahahahaha, did the club follow it? I used to be able to throw my Ping Driver further than I could hit it.

A mate of mine was a pro snooker player and had another pro player down visiting from Scotland. They went on our local golf course and on the Par 3 fourth his mate hit his T-shot over the railway line. Put's another ball down for "3 off the Tee" and hit that one over the railway line also. Tee's up his ball for "5 off the Tee".

HOLE IN ONE. Or not as the case may be.

When you get your calorifier up and running I would be very grateful to know how long the water in it stays hot. My previous, Norwegian boat had one which would stay good and hot until the next day but I have had the same make as yours installed in Merle and it's only tepid the next morning. I'm wondering if it is keeping the Cummins diesel to which it is attached warm by siphoning back but perhaps this is usual? I'd be grateful for your
thoughts in due course. Many thanks.
