We have an Avon Redcrest we use as a tender, most of the time its rolled up either at home or in the back of the cockpit (big open aft cockpit in a mobo).

When we go further afield the dinghy is blown up with a grab bag in the cockpit and doubles as our liferaft.

I'd like to put a floor board in it. I fancy it in one piece. Will need holes for the toggles for the middle flump thwart. B&Q WBP ply. Painted. It'll spend most of the year in my shed leaning up against the wall. Probly only get used abour 2 or 3 weeks a year max.

9mm or 12mm?

Any other comment?

I made this floor for a Bumbard dinghy (now gone). I used 9 mm marine ply, painted with 2 pack floor paint. It outlasted the dinghy.

I made a set yrs ago from good quality 9m/m ply in 3 sections, all varnished. i did have 3 of the correct Avon brass screws, made the hard back / rib & made 3 brass plates to take the screws.
made in 1 section, it will be too large to stow
