Making and uses for soft shackles

I have a thread on a fid for soft shackles Fids for splicing dyneema that has morphed into how to make soft shackles and their uses. I am unable to change the title of my first thread - but follow the link if you are interested. If the Mods can change the original title and delete this thread - I would be grateful and it might be more useful.
