main sail on ufo 31

well this will cause a stir my main sail on my ufo is very tired and baggy so i went into my garage dug out my old tornado catamaran fully battened mylar main sail and hoisted it on my ufo she is now a much quicker boat even though it has less square footage its a much better sail and as i cant afford a new main for the ufo this will do nicely for this season

Good idea.
The loads on it will be more than with the cat, so it may not last, and there won't be any reefing points, but there are loads of dinghy sails about that are past their racing sell by date. I've recently given away a tired gennaker that will make a fun cruising chute for a friend's small cruiser.

hadnt thought about the load, a light weight cat to big heavy cruiser, maybe i should be prepared to see it fall apart in a big blow.

oh well we will see
