Does anyone know of a hatch runner plastic profile material that is more durable than that fitted by Bavaria?

The boat is six years old but the runners broke up after about two. As you might just be able to make out, they have cracked at every screw hole. I kept forgetting to claim under warranty but wasn't too motivated as they would have only re-supplied the same thing.

What I need, I think, is a material like Delrin or hard nylon, preferably glass filled or reinforced in some other way. The originals had a "leatherette" texture on the bearing surface which cut down friction and wear on the acrylic hatch substantially.

Mine are on aluminium, the same aluminium as used for the sliders on the front cover, a sort of C shape.

They are not made for purpose, but have lasted well on my boat for 30 years.

The only image I have is the cover runner, not the ones under the hatches, but the guy who built it used the same stuff. An occasional spray of PTFE keeps them running smooth.
