Just had these sent over by Sunseeker. She's now starting to look like a proper boat.

I can't get over how neat and tidy this build looks. From what I've seen so far there's a superb level of precision being applied.

Engines are due to arrive Monday but won't be fitted until 11th April.

I hope you enjoy the pics /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

[/ QUOTE ]Agreed.
The stair in the 2nd pic, covered to avoid scratches, says it all.

Mark,

It is great to see a boat of such quality being built. Underneath all that glamour is a great quality boat. Some of the carpentry looks very good, even in the areas which will be covered!

Oh, I saw Magnum Force last weekend down at Galmpton. They Craned my new boat over her! She is one hell of a sexy Rib...just a shame she has no lounging areas!

Keep them coming, your reports are actually changing my mind on Sunseekers in a very good way...Just like Gludy changed my mind on Traders in a very bad way /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Cheers

erm.....not yet Mark they aint put the flybridge on yet /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Is that a chip of laminate missing I see on the bed base..........? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gifVery nice boat. Good luck with her

have a good look at what appears to be a chunk broken off the veneer at the foot of the berth. i used to be a veneerer and small repairs like that can lift off again quite soon if they are not done properly.

Crikey, takes me back to when I used to work at Toughs, I remember it so well, the endless days of trying to stop fibreglass getting inside your overalls, always managing to rub some in your eyes, and learning to be double jointed.
Looks like a good build, keep the pics coming.

Shouldn't the veneers on the bed base all line up between the drawers and the surround? That is what quality is all about

I'm not sure that defines quality but yes, veneers do usually match completely. Maybe it's because the bed is so big. It would take a huge piece of vinyl to match around the whole circumference.

Think the hull is black /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is. Great for cooking eggs, bacon etc using renewable energy sources. Environmentally friendly you see.

Noooooooooooo. I hope not. It could be masking tape. I've asked the question anyway (fingers crossed).

Think you may find that the drawers (or fronts) should be swapped around....
