Magna Carta river pageant Sunday 14th June.

Just interested to know who from the forum, or friends of forumites, may be going to Runnymede for the pageant. Whether involved, or just spectating by boat, or on foot. I'm going.

Well, only if the weather is nice, so two and a half!! Expect it to be a bit of a nightmare having so many different boat types in one place, but should be fun

I've treated myself to a megaphone, so I can converse with any rowers/coaches in the manner that they are accustomed to

Can't spectate by boat. We're all banned from the entire area around Runnymede for the duration of the pageant.

I think your not allowed to navigate on Monday between 09:00 and 11:45 but on Sunday a navigation channel is set up on the Wraysbury side, leaving a regatta/ pageant channel to the Runnymede side.

There was an impressive Police presence making it's way upstream. A shame it was a one off.

Absolutely brilliant weekend. We did the flotilla yesterday and somehow ended up at the tail end of the pageant today. Great fun.

We put 6 boats in to cover the safety side of things and took some photos as we went.

Friend from Bray marina went along as crew on "Trotwood" .Thoroughly good day by all accounts.
