Magellen Meridian Marine, route question

On my journey from Southwold to Southampton over three weekends I used the route function, to begin with it worked well up to the point where we diverted to Brighton.

For some reason afterwards I couldn't make it pick up the 1st mark first, even though they were listed in the right order in the route, it insisted on jumping 2. In the end I just used the marks as goto's and gave up, but has someone an easy solution to what I was doing wrong? Easier that is than reading the manual!

I can’t help directly but you could try this lot, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Magellan_Meridian/ it’s a very active and helpful message board specifically about the Magellan Meridian range (I also have marine version) I have always had a fast response to my questions from them.
