My Sea Ray has one of the above fitted and I can't seem to zoom in further than a map of the UK - do I need a card to plug in to it to give it the maps?

Secondly - from what I've seen of it so far it looks pretty dated - is it worth upgrading and if so what's good at the mo?

Cheers /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Yep, i guess a card is what you need. Don't know what one, try asking the local swindler or Marine Electronic Services of Shirehampton, Bristol are very good.
If you learn how to use your chartplotter properly, can you teach me pls? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I had one many, many years ago. Yes it needs a card (can't remember what type...). However the screen is very slow to redraw, the text small...personally I would buy a new plotter, they are so much better nowadays.
