A Twister at the centre of Britain's worst case of inanimate object abuse has told how she was offered treats including expensive new decks, new sails and anew bilge pump.

Twister 'X' said "I trusted my owner, ye ken!" and was happy for him to sit on her all weekend.

"There were times when I thought he was rubbing his bottom into me a bit hard, but I didn't say anything.
Then, after a couple of months, he said he wanted to do more than just sail around the Solent.
At first I said, "no, no further than St Caths!" but he was really sweet and would give me presents, rub polish into my rump and pump me dry every morning.
Then one evening he came home drunk, removed hatchboards and stuck his frame into me.
If his wife hadn't come in he'd have been fingering my cabin sole."

The MCA say the case is even more horrific than the infamous Leopard Carpet Abuser who stalked the coast off Nice in the mid-2000s before his boat sank.

Retd Admiral IanGrant said: "The leopard carpet is the inanimate equivalent of a dirty gymnast. But it's quite another thing to force yourself into a defenceless boat that just wants to be sailed somewhere new for pleasure."

It shocks me that owners can be soooo cruel to their MAB's.

Perhaps we need to set up an organisation equivalent to the RSPCA or NSPCC to take care of MAB's? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Any ideas on the acronym? I have to go out now. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
