M25

Does anybody know how the gantry speed cameras operate on the M25 between the M3 and M40?.. i.e. Do they work when they're not lit up, as I got " double flashed" at over 80 m.p.h. when they were not lit, so thought it would be OK.

Don't worry. They only operate if over speed if signs lit up

Yep, it is.

A new Gatso went up last night as well, although it has been registering on my GPS speed detector for a few days now. It is a live one, as is the one just a tad further on if you were to continue in the other lanes on the M25.

Be careful, I think they may be funding the whole Terminal 5 project soley by contributions from the Gatso's around there.....

Thats fair enough. There are enough warnings about scameras in that section that anyone caught speeding there deserves it
