I'm after a supplier for some M11 BZP threaded rods / nuts. I've spoken to Costal Rides and I'm after some to use as studs on my VP 290 Transom Shield to bolt it onto my transom as its slightly thicker for the ones supplied.

I'm assuming its M11 (thats what it looks like when I measured it) but if anyone knows any different let me know !!!

Any ideas ?

If your boat is old, i.e. pre-metric, it could be a 7/16" imperial thread. [7/16" = 11.11mm]

Also, you don't want BZP [plated mild steel] near the water. You need stainless steel, A4 grade.

Try j&l industrial supplies they are engineering suppliers(google them) they should be able to get what you need,i know they do threaded bar.

I didn't think of imperial. The engine set is a VP 250A so its a 290 leg with AQ151A engine.

I may buy a M12 bolt just to check but will look at the imperial size.

Thanks for the help.
