As the title really. On the boat there is a cooker fitted. The name on the front panel by the knobs says Lytham Mariner. I've never lit the thing since I've had the boat. It Looks as if it needs new burner tops and the grill mesh needs replacing.

Its the original fitment on the boat. I did look at replacing it. The width between the gimble mountings is 35cm. Its a lot smaller than the newer cookers so finding a replacement is becoming somewhat tedious. The other option left open to me is to see if spares are avaulable......any thoughts?

I had a similar cooker. Explorer IIRC rather than the Mariner. No Gimballs or fiddles, although I did get some fiddles to fit
Chucked it out a couple of years ago, but been obsolete for donkeys years.
Burners were actually OK but the grill was not much good even when new.

I am not absolutely sure but I think they were made by the firm that now makes the Plastimo cookers, Leisure Products ( Bolton) Ltd

I had difficulty finding a replacement that was small enough from back to front. Width no problem. Ended up modifying a cheap camping cooker. I really wanted to get one with flame failure devices. Decided in the end that a gas alarm would have to be fitted instead ... still on "to do" list :(
