Tidal streams can be a bit impressive at springs. Place will be full of early season tourists /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif . You might want the land phone number of one or two of the local boatmen who do fishing trips if you don't have a outboard. The tourist office is 0845 6603232 and at the start of the season is always cheerful. Bring a rod a catch your own supper ! Enjoy the scenery. (Porlock will be a bit more sheltered BTW in SW winds.)
