Looking around our South West Coast for a suitable mooring or berth , maybe a dry one if Launching ramp available on site ' Lyme Regis appears to mainly have Moorings that Dry Out , plus a Dry Storage sited near the Slipway ; I understand that Launching by 'others' is availble , is it ?

So just how many hours on a day is the Harbour useable for ? anybody have experience with which to stae their opinion or observations , please ?

Also do you find the Harbour to be usefull for your needs ?

Thank you CP

Yes, it does dry out so you need bilge keels or a centreboard. Number of mooring is limited. There is a wide launching ramp and storage, part I think sailing club and part harbour. Speak to the harbourmaster.

My kids caught the worst nits ever in Lyme regis. It dries, most certainly. It’s quite a spot, I wouldn’t personally even dream of keeping my pride and joy there permanently, it must be deeply unpleasant in a south easterly surely. Love it as a stopover, very much.
