Can anybody tell me how to get rid of the Microsoft office cat that has started inhabiting my screen. I do not have any ms office programs running and I have shut down nearly everything in the Ctrl-Alt-Del task manager whatsit thing. I have just rebooted the computer and the stupid creature is still prowling round my screen purring to itself.
I am just trying to find ye' ole' air rifle.

But the answer probably is that it is a character in Office Assistant, so if you go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, MSOffice, Change and disable Office Assistant under Office Shared Features you will neuter him.

Think that the Cat is Rocky but I never have it installed cos I am a better cat than him.

That clip could well have been me the first time I came across Office Assistant.

Killed him pretty darned quick I did, electrons and pixels scattered everywhere by the time I finished with him.

Am still working out how to chop Ja Ja Binx off my Star Wars DVDs though - anyone any ideas for that?

It's made in Russia I believe. Someone (a very boat-knowledgeable person) I know saw it at a US boat show a few weeks ago and said it looked quite high build quality
