This weekend in Maryport was our annual Blues Festival which has been marred by the Aquila fishing boat tragedy so it was decided that there would be a minutes silence at 6.00 pm on Sunday. In my pub which was full to capacity, the band anounced the silence and you could have heard a pin drop, it really brought a lump to my throat, very moving. This week will be difficult with funerals on three seperate days.
