Thanks, that led me to an old thread, where I learnt that Lumishore won a queens award for Enterprise, somehow I missed all this, made a mess of my googling and thought it was an American firm, shame on me! I only know of them because of JFM's threads.

My new boat is a GRP hull, I thought that a white lumishore in the transom with a wifi remote control might be useful for returning to the boat at night when in an anchorage or on a bouy, Dittisham would be a good example.

Of course, up until now, having a wooden boat its not the sort of thing you bore a hole for!

They do come from a country to the west of England...

2 queens awards actually!
They have strong USA presence but company is based in Swansea UK. Design, manufacture, employees, ownership are there.
You’re right that apart from the fun angle they’re useful (safety) when departing/returning to a boat at night by tender or on a pontoon.
You might not need the WiFi. Current draw is so low you could just leave them switched on for a few hours.

As it happens I had concluded that, new boat has a wheelhouse, the top of which I'll smoother with solar panel and have plenty of batteries, so a few hours of that current draw is no bother (although I do like the idea of wifi, my boy would find it cool too!)

I am sure it will...

You have got a lot of work to do with that chainsaw before the big reveal otherwise you have broken one of the cardinal rules; - 'no ugly boats or cars'!

;);).......maybe the lorry driver will hit a couple of bridges on the way down!

Or women.

If it hits a few branchs and knocks off a few bits it might do me a favour!

Get RGBW - he would find that super cool and he could drive the lighting off an ipad :D

6 Queen's Awards over the last 6 years axshully. I just don't like shouting TOO loud. Most pleasingly ( if you're allowed to be fussy) 2 of them have been for Innovation .

We’re all RGBW+ these days...?

Agreed and why our new SMART, fully tuneable above water lighting is CRGBW. The C being cold white and W being warm white. Some of the guys on here saw the earliest versions at BOOT this year and is also on the new Hawk as you may have guessed from the Sunseeker press release. Unfortunately demand is so HUGE that at the moment we can only supply to Builders and it isn't yet on our website ( although the Lumi-Link architecture is )
