Have just had to fit a new gearbox and electric motor to drive and ST44 sail winch.
Got it all together, with difficulty, and in the absence of definitive instructions, it goes the wrong way round so does not operate the winch!
Variables are:
Which way up should the gearbox go - I tried to put it the same as the old motor/gearbox combination
There are terminals D1 and D2. Lewmar told me to use D2. Would D1 reverse it? A2 is for negative.
And if it did, that would send the worm the wrong way round potentially, so the thrust would not be where it ought to be.
