LRC on east coast?

Anyone know if there is anywhere that does LRC training and exam on the east coast?

I got mine at Lowestoft Tech. It isn't on their menu of courses but if you have reasonable prior knowledge (I have amateur radio ticket) and prepared to pre-read the material they may be able to help. I "fitted - in" on a few days of one of their professional courses and with the assessment when the assessor came.

Ok, it is on their list! Wasn't when I did mine. They are nice folks and if it is like when I was there you will meet an interesting mix of professional seafarers on other courses. You may get - "What - a WAFI doing a proper course? Whatever next?" That sort of thing, but good natured (I think)
