The procedures for loading and saving data (user generated waypoints etc) to/from SD cards for this unit is extraordinarily complex . I have no idea how I worked out but I have instructions noted and if anyone is interested I will post them in this thread.
However this is not my reason for posting...................
When loading from the SD card the bar at the bottom of the screen goes across to the high 90%'s in 5 seconds. The screen then freezes and nothing works. The only way I can turn it off is to unplug it.
Having done this a few times I thought I would leave it with the screen frozen. After 10 minutes the bar goes to 100% and everything is OK.
I thought it very unusual that the final 3% should take 10 minutes?
Is this normal?
Has it happened to other sets?
What should I do?
I said I needed a GENIUS!!!!!!!!
