I went last year. It was a decent small show, especially for a first attempt. Quite a lot of small exhibitors of the type you used to see at Soton & LIBS until they were priced out of the market.
I'd go again, but probably wouldn't make a special trip from London
My friend and I combined it with a visit to his folks in Lowestoft.
It was a horrid rainy day and there were not a huge amount of stands there. The indoor part was in the fish market hall and it was a bit pongy as they were selling fish in there the day before.
Having said that it was a nice little show and if they saw it as a success and increased the size by 50% then I would definately go again.
We went - yes it rained bloody awful.
We saw the Jeanneau 32 in its worst conditions, and went on to buy a 35 from Steve Carter at Southampton later in 2004.
Also talked to Gary from Marine Engineering on the Broads who is an expert at the Volvo MB2-50S so well worth supporting.
I wish them well, and will go and see them again this year. Perhaps they should also organise a boat jumble alongside to really fill out the day.
Cheap, cheerful, and a good effort.
