Hell of a tide run on the ebb!

Nice pix.Still a bit blimming chilly tho.
We were just round the corner with 4 or so other club boats dispensing warm beverages to the safety ribs attending Hoo Freezer.
The day before was absolutely awful.
Wonder if you spotted the Thames clipper on its way back home after a wash and scrub up at Chatham ?

When you took the pic of the rail bridge did you notice if the sunk boat was still moored up just to your left?

No, didn't see the Clipper unfortunately, that would have made a nice picture. Definitely a contrasting day to Saturday, even above Rochester it was choppy. I was doing some wiring on the boat and had a job to stand level!

The M2 rail bridge? the little cabin cruiser is still there on the left, the one that came from over the weir at Allington.

Are you coming round to MDL with us this weekend ?

Probably not, I want to get a bit more berthing practice in. Haven't crashed since my training, but it's the prospect of mowing down club members boats that's a little off putting! Probably speak to you Wednesday

You can go round anytime during the day. Just ring Tracy or somebody in the lock office, tell them you are with the RCC lot.
If you are bothered about using the lock explain its your " first time".
There will normally be somebody around to take your lines and help you through.
Only 4 boats going at moment. We will be leaving club around 1pm (ish)

Looks lovely. Cant wait to get ours back in the water so we can get some boating done. Mind you at the moment we have nowhere to go anyway. We will be stuck between Lincoln and Torksey due to floods :(

Never mind. Two more weekends of hard graft and we should be ready to relaunch.
