Lot of Pershing for not much €

I saw it for sale about 5 y ago - very sorry state in the corner @ Frejus .
Refurb looks good ish - those dark seats must be a nightmare in the Med .
L/ h figure needs verification.:)

This ones got simple shafts not Arnies .
More or less the C32 or it’s early derivative.
Correct. The engine was called 3412 back then, and indeed it was, albeit with lower displacement and power, the C32 precursor.
If properly maintained, I wouldn't be too scared by the 2000 hours, also because I don't think they had to work hard in this boat, which is actually a (relatively) small 60 footer, and on shafts.

Interestingly, the P60 is the only non f/b boat which I considered during my last boat hunting, for two reasons:
1) the hull was designed before Pershing began following the trend towards flatter, larger and higher hulls aimed at increasing onboard spaces.
In fact, it has an excellent reputation for seaworthiness, and according to several folks is one of the best ever made by Pershing;
2) I came across one of the very few (if not the only one) built with a full cockpit glass door, which imho is essential when spending a lot of time onboard, to avoid the hassle of covers.
Trouble is, she was an Arneson version, which was a bit beyond my own madness limits...

But yes, generally speaking boats like these are good value nowadays, because their demand dropped like a lead balloon in the last decade, both new and used, so whoever wants/needs to sell one has to price her attractively.
Btw, the one I considered was advertised as good for 46kts with the very same engines, so even if obviously the shafts version is nowhere near as fast, I believe that 28kts max is bound to be a mistake (38 being more likely, by and large). Either that, or there's some major problem with the boat.
It just doesn't make any sense that a boat which is actually a bit lighter than mine makes 5kts less with a whopping 900 more hp...!
