Lost: Almanac of Sailing Terms. Found: Sailors Almanac of Naughtical Terms [sic]

A week ago I emailed my ex-boat-partner and asked if there was anything he wanted from his bag, mostly clothes and toiletries. He replied today, saying the only thing he wanted was a book "Almanac of Sailing Terms". Sadly, he was too late, as this and many other items no longer wanted by the new owner (me) got put in a pile on the hard with a notice saying "Free Stuff".

Had he replied promptly, I would still have it. But I still felt bad for him, so after climbing into the bin where all the left-over stuff went, I tried to find a copy. In doing so, I discovered this:
