Hi mark,switched my handheld on in the Locks and it didnt lose the sattelites all day.Does it happen when your sailing or just when using the engine? Could be interference,I remember a Decca set I had that lost the plot if you used the VHF this was a pain as you needed to know where you were to initialize a Decca.More than a mile out and it couldnt find itself.

FWIW mine didnt lose fix at all on Sunday. When it has done there has been no engine running. Do you think it could have been anything to do with http://www.reedsonline.com/news/2008/09/uk-gps-jamming-this-week.htm ?
