Mine have never moved, not once have I needed to tighten up loose life-jacket gas canisters.
It is not as though I do not use the jackets, for the last two years I have insisted, even on sunny calm days that jackets are worn in the dinghy. I even don the jacket if working on the hull or checking mooring warps etc. On average they are getting dumped in and out of the car, worn, thrown around the boat twice a week.
I have 4 manual jackets, 2 XM (main) and a pair from the boat jumble woman, you know the ones... I also have 4 old type beauforts which have also never come loose.
So, am I just lucky, or is this a failing of auto jackets?
I am interested in this for my own knowledge, I have made a quick poll..
