NO NO NO, Not gardening.................

I think that the Met Office may be writing off the weekend too early. A number of forecasts seem to be suggesting a reasonable weekend, i.e. winds generally <F6 and periods of sunshine and showers. I have been trying to track the changes all week and the forecasts have been changing quite regularly.

Don't start gardening it only encourages them.

To be fair to the Met office there is an Altantic low coming in from the W and shallow low edging in from the E both affecting the weather in The Channel. I'm guessing that the MO are reckoning that the Atlantic low is going to win the battle. Certainly theyr is calling for the leading edge of the Atlantic low to cross the IOW early Sunday morning

I see what you mean, I just had a quick flick around a few sites and there are definately calls still to be made.

I am thinking of a trip over to Gravelines leaving Sunday am, coming back to Ramsgate on Monday. This trip looks doable on most forecasts, but obviously need to keep 'em peeled!

well I am still aiming to head over to Guernsey Saturday morning - but am starting to question how long I will be there and what I will be doing! (was planning a whole week so not too concerned about the poor Monday scenario)
