Not only cars-boats ;locomotives;boats of course;caravans etc.
At least thats the case with the one that runs to Australia and NZ-costs a couple of k or so to ship your car and caravan and if NZ is your destination you can more than cover the cost when you sell the caravan over there after your holiday.

Depends. Considering the rest of the boat is as boxy as ever I wouldn't have thought any weight saved by the funky bow would make much difference.

I often motor past her on the Tyne paranoid that her mooring lines will drop (has happened once) but I listen to VTS on Ch12 now cos there isn't much room. She fills up with Nissans from Sunderland quite regularly.
