Cost to do the same in Lowestoft at RNSYC £137.50. No fuel costs to travel to Wales and no accomodation at around £45/night for 2 nights, as I only live 20-30 mins away./forums/images/icons/smile.gif So no, not cheap for me./forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Craig why not take your boat to Lowestoft and make a short holiday of it?

Hi Lyn,

Thought about doing that, as an "ex petrol head" yourself, what is the distance and possible re fuel points along the way?

Cheers,

No refuelling and it is around 42miles from Suffolk Yacht Harbour to Lowestoft, you just need to add on the rivery bit to Ipswich. We used to use less than 1/2 tank in the Falcon 27 with the twin engines.
