TELA was a Bristol Channel 16ft three quarter decked gaff rigged dinghy. She was sailed with others of her type out of Barry Harbour by members of Barry Yacht Club.
She was used as the mould in 1980 for the TELA class day sailor. I believe over 50 have been sold.
We wonder if her hull is still around, as it would be great to restore one for the club and our cadets to sail. It could be that some of the other boats are still around. If you have any information please get in touch.
