Guys, I'm trying to identify the antena fitting on my ICOM IC-M1EURO V hand held VHF. I'm in the process of making up various patch/fly adaptor leads for my assorted RG58 and FM equipment.

I want to make an adaptor lead so i can use the masthead antena with the handheld.

I know it's not BNC or TNC - it's much smaller. Could it be the one i've seen called an 'F' connector?

I have emailed Icom, but nothing back yet. Also, can anyone reccommend a supplier of such gear, other than Maplin?

Thanks

Sounds like an SMA connector and Maplin do an adaptor to convert to your vhf Pl plug. they are aso av ailable on Ebyay at a higher cost.
