Looking for suggestions....

Hi,

I am looking for a boat for general pottering in the harbour as well as going out to sea a bit further (Solent area).

I like the Boston Whalers but they are very expensive and the smaller ones would not be very suitable in any kind of seaway. I am looking for something in the way of a project, so ideally a hull that comes up regularly on flea bay or one of the other sites.

I have looked at Wilson Flyers, Seahogs but they are not that pretty and I am looking for something a bit sporty looking which I can ideally put a centre stand-up console in with a T-top shade on. Size wise I am think in excess of 22ft.


Can anyone suggest makes that might fit this criteria?

You could look at the small Beneteau's or Jeanneau's

Probably to expensive I think, my mate has picked up a Cobia hull for under £5k which is my sort of thing, but it was in very good order, I am looking for something less but more of a project. I like those American lines.
