Hi
I have a Birchwood TS37 based at Penton Hook Marina.
It has its original GPR radar arch which is too high to go through many of the bridges on the non tidal Thames, we can't leave it down as it gets in the way so we constantly have to lower the arch for various bridges, problem is its very heavy and a two man job. We could fit some kind of Gas Struts to counter act the weight or another option might be to replace the GRP arch with a stainless frame.
The radar is original and now de-commissioned, but I still need an arch for aerials, lights and the canvas cover.
Does anyone know of a stainless tubing fabricator who would come to Chertsey and give me some advice if it will be a worthwhile conversion.
Many thanks Glen
