Assuming that I qualify as a "classic" - S&S design, built 1974, I'm trying to get in touch with other owners - there don't seem to be many! I was also wondering how many were built..

Any ideas gratefully received!

There is a very nice She 32 called "Sabea" which moors at Methersgate on the Deben. She hasn't yet launched this year, and is still in the yard at Larkmans. She was purchased by a friend of mine as an ex racer, and he fitted her out very comfortably and very well for family cruising.

I believe he is a member of the S&S owners association(?) which might be a good source of information for you.

A blast from the past - I crewed a few times on Sabea out of Walton, must have been late seventies or early eighties. I liked the boat - she seemed very well built.

I think she had the imitation teak 'shedeck'. I wonder how well that has stood up to the elements and passage of time (I could see Andrew C-B grimacing as I wrote that last line).
