looking for pbo article

Hi everyone - I am hoping someone out there can help me. I am looking for a copy or scan of an article that appeared in july 2007 edition of pbo on cruising or sailing in syria. We live overseas and subscribe to pbo but only have limited success in getting our copies through the sticky fingered post office here. When I called to re-request the july edition it appears that it has sold out.

I am also somewhat technically illiterate - in order to get this info will someone have to pm me?

Can't send you a copy but the article was NOT very complementary about the authorities. It would have put me off going if I was thinking of it. A MUST DO seems to get clearance papers from your previous port of call before entering.

Try the Cruising Association. I am sure there was an article on there forum a couple of weeks ago. Again not encouraging, it was about a bad experience of trying to enter the country and being sent back to Turkey in bad weather.
